Halloween

Halloween is always a fun time of year for me. I love decorating and seeing the spirit of Halloween shine through. We got Boo'd this year again, it's a neighborhood thing...and so we delivered some Boo's too. Cynjyn had no Halloween plans so she didn't come up with a costume this year, but she did play a little with her latex make up and turned herself into a pretty scary Pennywise. Jaxon had Halloween parties at his little preschool classes, so we dressed up and went to those. We weren't going to go to Trunk or Treat this year, but Talon and Mikel wanted to go to ours because they had a conflict and couldn't go to theirs, so we ended up going at the last minute. I came up with a matching game. Tanner and Cynjyn dressed up as Charlie Brown and the Rock and Talon's family was Star Wars themed. We ended up have a really fun time.

Treats for volleyball and YW

I had fun this Halloween making treats to give to my YW and Taz's volleyball team. Their last game was on Halloween night, so I wanted to make them a treat. I made filled pillow boxes for my YW and I made filled french fry containers and Monster Rice Krispie treats for the VB team. It was a fun year for Taz and I'm glad that Garry and I could go see a lot of games.

Camdyn's sprinkle

Mikel's mom came into town and we had a baby sprinkle for Camdyn. I was in charge of coming up with a prize for a game, so I bought two candles from Bath and Body Works and wrapped it in a paper bag. Tanner and Garry came and helped set up and take down and we all helped decorate. Jaxon came to it and so half way through it, Cynjyn took him to Carmen's house and napped with him. The Sprinkle was at Carmen's apartment complex in the rec room. It was a brunch with games and a donut board that Garry made for it. We can't wait for this baby to come and be a part of our family.

Tanner turns 25

Tanner had a good birthday. He is always on the lookout for a good Mexican place to eat. We decided to go the one in Boulder City that we'd gone to a few years ago. It was pretty good and Jaxon really enjoyed the ice cream in the edible bowl. This year, the kids are getting $300...$100 for birthday and $200 for Christmas. They had the option of combining it if they wanted. Tanner chose that option and wanted the gifts for his birthday. He really wanted a Nintendo Switch and the game Fire Emblem. We also gave him a sweater that Cynjyn and I had ordered from Korea that we saw in a BTS video that we thought he would really like. He's a great man and I love him so much.

Talon had us over that weekend for rib eye as a gift for Tanner. Talon has become quite good at BBQing and smoking meat. It was delicious! Jaxon sure loves it when Taz jumps with him on the trampoline. The rib eye was perfect and I made Tanner a trifle for dessert per his request.

Jaxon Cuteness October

This is what Jaxon was up to this month: We took a little walk to the mailbox and he insisted on bringing Bentley. He still loves his beans. He loved eating Tanner's dessert at the Mexican restaurant. He has a fun time at preschool. He loves going over to our little park and playing with the rocks. Showing Cynjyn his paper he did at school. Showing us his new race track, watching TV and eating lollipops and stacking blocks...he always enjoys that.
