Oregon part 3: Pendleton

One day we decided to make a trip to our hometown...Pendleton Oregon. We took the kids by our old high school and got pictures.  Ky and I both had reunions that year, her 20th my 30th. Sadly, only Ky was able to make hers, so I was glad we stopped by.

We took the kids to a couple of parks, but it was blazing hot.

At least some of the McKay creek park was in the shade.  That is the house we grew up in in the back there.

Beckham was dying to play three billy goats gruff and so mom and I were the billy goats as he was the troll and only one small enough to fit in the trolls tunnel.

He was a great troll.

After the hot parks, the kids went down to the river to cool off.

Kres finally just took off his clothes and body  surfed a little.

Then Beckham gave it a try...probably would have worked better in deeper water, oh well, that's Beckham for ya!

We ate at our favorite eating places...Mazatlan for lunch

Up with donuts for dessert.

And Hals Hamburgers for twist cones on the way out of town.

It was a nice day.
