Little things August

This is what I want to remember for August:
Tanner eating sliders at the Van's house for a YSA activity and Mike taking this photo to send to Taz to torment him telling him Tanner broke his slider record and ate 24! (Tanner could barely eat 4).
 Mailing Taz his birthday cards.
 Fresh hair cut.
 Subbing in primary.
 random texts from Cynjyn.
Selfies because I need a picture of the day.
 Nap time.
 Playing and loving the organ.
First showing of the marching band's competition number.
D and D with YSA friends every other Saturday. (Garry and Tanner play)
Cynjyn and Trevor heading out for the night accidently matching and Cari sending me this photo of them.
Garry's JT3 contract bid acceptance celebration dinner...expensive food, but free to us and quite fancy and delicious.

Back to making school lunches...one more year, one more year!
 Back to school father's blessings.
Last first day of school (College doesn't count...end public school life is almost here)
Flute section leader...we made these t-shirts for her section.
Photo of another pair of shoes Taz wore out on his mission.
 Yummy, yummy yummy zucchini lasagna.
 Early morning marching band practice.
 These two...

He can't get enough of zoom zoom zoom song. He wore Tanner out, then it was Cynjyn's turn.

Going to the dump with Garry after waiting an hour in the line just to get in.
Cynjyn's last hoorah with her friends who were seniors this year and were moving on.
 US...
 Band dot books.
 Walking
Portrait mode+ my favorite flowering plant.
 My lil buddy.

Little gifts for the dance team and their first football game.

Seeing Talon working at our game at Silverado.
Supporting Cynjyn at her first football game.

Mikel had a tumor removed from her hip and then sent us this photo of it...

Education Week

August 19-24

Garry and I were able to go to Education week again this year. We stayed at the same hotel and were up on campus every day before 7 am.

One of the things we knew we wanted to do was go to the best mexican restaurant in Utah. It was supposedly the Red Iguana in SLC. We drove over their Monday evening. We tried the dish they were famous for which was some mole thing and then got a combo and split the two. It was good, but a little spendy and surly not the best ever that we've had, but we liked our little adventure.

We went to the play they had which was a show celebrating the RS and it was pretty good, we weren't expecting it to be. We took it easy and didn't kill ourselves attending every class. I took a lot of random selfies and pictures of slugs which is how I felt some of the early mornings, but you have to go early to get a good parking place.
