September Little Things

This is what I want to remember from September: Purse slings at church, me and my kids in Sunday School, game playing on Sunday's, sunsets and sunrises and cooking, helping each other with homework, In n Out for dinner, making a blue bag for Linda when Sean left on his mission, making birthday bag's for my YW.

Tanner and Jaxon, Tanner's D and D nights, Taz watching football on TV and another game on his laptop, Garry and I speaking in the YSA ward, Jaxon needing his backpack on because Cynjyn had her's on for school, seeing Randall Cunningham at volleyball and texting his picture to Trampis and Trey, Cynjyn's new masks she ordered for fun, fall letterboards, Tuesday trips to Costco and Jaxon and Grandpa cooking together,

Jaxon and I and our morning breakfasts, seeing Wicked at the Smith center with Mikel (her first time), Jaxon helping Taz with his laundry, putting up my fall Halloween decorations, having hair long enough to braid, Garry helping at the first annual Stake Primary Activities Day's for girls Pinewood Derby that I started the ball rolling for, but then got released right before it. Acquiring and painting new Halloween decor, snacks with Cynjyn, a typical evening of watching TV and folded laundry being ready to put away, our shadowy selves on our way and waiting for preschool to start, assembly line help putting stuff in the attic, new hair cut from Cynjyn, Lex in town for Shae's reception, Sunday Come Follow Me, and dinner and movie with book club friends and their hubbies.

Visitors from Hong Kong

In early September, we had one of Taz's old Mission companion and his family come into town from Hong Kong. Angus was his name and his family was here to bring him to school in Utah. They stayed with us for the weekend. It was Angus, his mom and dad and brother and sister. We set up the loft for them. Nathan came up from Arizona for the weekend to see Taz and Angus. They were such a fun family and we really enjoyed visiting with them and seeing some of Vegas with them. Taz mostly took them around, they went to Hoover Dam and the temple. Sunday night, we went down on the strip and went to the Bellagio fountains and walked to the Volcano and walked all around. They brought us some fun cookies and chocolate.  When they left, they left us envelops of money and it was so nice of them, but not necessary. We had such a good time with them.
