Who knew it would be so dramatic

Oh, my, goodness! Who knew that turning one would be so dramatic for such a little boy! Mikel had planned his photo shoot to happen right after his nap when he should be happy! Well, that did happen, but he was NOT happy! Despite it all, we ended up getting some good ones. We had me shooting continuously with the DSLR and Cynjyn shooting with my iPhone.

Super Goons

I have been wanting to do a comic book page for our Christmas cards for a few years now. I just haven't had quite the vision to pull it off. Last year doing a Vader Christmas card gave me confidence to go for it this year. So I had everyone wear their superhero shirts from our family photo shoot one Sunday, and we went to the park and took pictures. I filled my phone and then used Photoshop to turn these...

...into this! I'm so happy with how they turned out and I can't wait to send them out this year!

Surprise photo shoot

Cynjyn and I did a small photo shoot. I need some photos for one of my challenges at my scrapbook site and I wanted them with a hat, so I convinced her to come do a shoot with me. They turned out cute!

COVID College Graduate

It was a bitter sweet graduation for Tanner. He had agreed to walk at the UNLV graduation. He wasn't too happy about it but he was going to do it for us. Then COVID hit and there was no graduation ceremony. So we borrowed a Cap and gown from Andrew and went up on campus for a photo shoot. As we were walking around, a nice grounds keeper pulled up in his little cart that he drives around and offered to take us where ever we wanted and would let us into any building we wanted so we could take some inside photos. He said it was the least he could do since there was going to be no official ceremony. So that is how we got to take some photos inside a building. It was fun seeing the campus since I had never really seen it before up close. Tanner was a fun, willing, patient photographee. We are all so proud of him and I love how the photos turned out!

Photo shoot No. 3

Cynjyn and Ella grabbed Tanner and snuck out of our Waite family party to do a photo shoot as per tradition. I don't know where they find these places, but they turned out cute.
