This is what I want to remember about January: Projects...Cynjyn needed some organization for her closet. She had Garry make some shelves for her. She also has a little space that she uses in the dining room and Garry got sick of the looking at it, so he made a cabinet for her to store her projects in. Speaking of projects, it's always a project for me to put away Christmas, I was so grateful when Cynjyn came and offered to help me put it all away! I also got a load of scrapbook pages printed that need to be organized and put away. Cynjyn wants to have a NERF gun war coming up later this month, so Garry started prepping the windows with the shades we'd taken down. We got some IKEA shelves in an attempt to calm our game organization. We put them up in the hallway and really like how they turned out. I love it when the floors are freshly swept and mopped. I love the view from upstairs. I organized and cleaned up the craft room. Taz had to make a poster for Institute, (he's on the council this year) and Cynjyn ended up doing it for him! The poster turned out great. We ordered some Greg Olson photos of Christ and some frames, and Garry hung them up above the windows in the family room.
We still enjoy playing D n D about twice a month with the Osburns and we always provide a snack of some sort, sometimes we theme it and sometimes we just make yummy stuff. We did some meatballs and cheese and olives and we did the chocolate spread on a baguette with fruit. One day we made dirt cups with gummy worms. Tanner is a good DM and we are having a great time. I got a DnD cookbook for Christmas from Ky and Clay and one night I made a leek soup out of it. Garry tried his hand at recreating In n Out burgers. He made himself a 4x4 and Taz some double doubles. We ate at Lazy Dog and we loved the fries more than the dogs. Taz is still going strong making Korean food when he can. We like playing games on Saturday afternoons and Taz's friends come over to make music.
