April Little Things

This is what I want to remember about April:
The school year winding down and tired girls and dogs. Tanner's new hair color. Tanner tutoring Megan. Baking bread for company. Pretty fingernails. Prom invites that have to do with Les Mis. Helpful babies. Pretty toes and nails for Prom. Intertwined hair.  IKEA visits, borrowed Kindle to read on. Good hair days and a crazy funny birthday gift from the Bishopric...a tootsie pop!
Oh and we had a hummingbird nest right outside our kitchen window that we faithfully watched the little mama guard for a good month, then all of a sudden, she was gone and the eggs were gone and we had no baby birds to watch and enjoy. We'll never know what happened to them, but it was a sad day!

Dance the night away...

April 13, 2018:

The company came mainly to support and watch Cynjyn in her end of year dance show for Silverado. The theme this year was Disney and so the music was great. Oh yes, and so was the dancing.  A few of us went the first night to support her, but the majority of us went the last night and we had the front row! It was so nice!

She was just adorable in the opening act as Eeyore!

It's my favorite time of year and I love watching her dance so much!

It's always fun when company comes

April 7-15, 2018

Like I said before, our company was supposed to arrive before Jaxon's party, but due to the delay, they came after the party. We sure enjoyed our week with them though. We heated up the jacuzzi and enjoyed swims.  Cynjyn officially got asked to Prom by Eric with a Les Mis poster he made.  There were movies to be watched and popcorn to be eaten.  Me, Garry, Mom, Dad and Krissy made it to the temple to do a bunch of sealings.  Garry, Mom, Dad and I had been working on initiatory's and endowments last year and so we had a good group of names to do for sealings.  We made a trip to Pop n Roll for ice cream which Jaxon and Annalyn loved! We also made a stop at Freed's bakery for treats one day.  We played a lot of hand and foot and that silly mouth game which was pretty funny. We went to Fiesta buffet for dinner one night and made a lot of food at home. I had to speak in Stake Conference the Sunday they were here, so they all went to listen to my 6 min. talk.  Ky came later in the week. The real reason they were here, was for Cynjyn's dance show at Silverado. More to come on that.
