The Rest of Boise

We ended up back in Boise before heading home to Vegas.The mall was having a Lego display so we went to see that one afternoon.

These two crazies rented the ride on animals for a half an hour...

Making Scary Movies

When we were in Boise, we took a day to make some movies for Kres and Beckham.  They had been writing them in their summer school and Beckham loves acting things out.  They were both scary movies and we helped them out.  It was a fun day:

Beckham's Baptism

Beckham turned 8 in April, but they decided to wait until July when we could come up for him to be baptized.  We returned from La Grande to Boise the day before his baptism.  Mom was in charge of food and Ky everything else.  His baptism was on Saturday.  Dad gave the talk on baptism and I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost.  I talked about the movie The Jungle Book and how Bagherra was Mowgli's guide to the man village just like the Holy Ghost is Beckham's guide to return to Heavenly Father.  Beckham LOVES the Jungle Book and is always pretending to be Mowgli. I had little figures of each animal character as I talked about it and related it to his path back to HF. 

Trampis, Ella and Jess were able to come.

And of course Grandma and Grandpa. Beckham wasn't liking the picture taking part though!

Ky wanted to have a bunch of dips for food.  Like...Beckham just took a dip, come have a dip afterwards with us...We also supplemented our dips with nachos and chili.

Ky also made her yummy sugar cookies!
