Oregon adventures part 1

We left for our annual trek to Oregon/Idaho at the end of June. Tanner got a job at the last minute and opted to stay behind and work. It was a very tough decision and we were so sad to leave him behind.  We arrived at Krissy's house in Boise and enjoyed the few days we spent there.  She has a beautiful yard.
Lola was happy to see us, but sometimes annoyed if we'd take up room on her couch.
Taz and Cynjyn loved riding the dirt bike and four wheeler.
Krissy served us some delicious green smoothies.
And Cynjyn and I learned how to make our own jewelry and made several bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
We headed to La Grande that weekend and I stopped at Ladd Canyon on Reed and Debbie's lane to let Taz and Cynjyn drive a little.
They both did awesome.
Kres, Beckham and Ky were there and it was fun to be with them again.  Beckham was an elk and those things on his head are elk stickers...I mean elk horns.
Cynjyn dug out Ky and Krissy's old cheerleading outfits and they cheered up a storm for us.
Good food was had by all.
Old favorite toys were revisited.
Family time together was spent.
I  MADE Cynjyn wear my old prom dress!
The bow and arrows were dug out.
The kids loved visiting the 5 horses grandpa was housing.
Sunsets were enjoyed.
Baby quails were found.

Barn lofts were fun.

 Trailers were slept in.
 Make shift beds were made.

 Nails were painted.
 Hair was made fancy.
 Make up was applied.
Hair was dyed.
Pinochle was learned.
Walks were taken.
Exercise was tried.

Traditions were revisited. (A rousing game of Mario party is being played.)
Favorite restaurants were being visited. (El Erradero!)
( Cove Tavern on prime rib night)

 (Licorice ice cream)
(Sadly no more root beer float ice cream, but Taz found a new favorite...Maple nut)
Stay tuned for part 2
