Valley of Fire

Jaxon was old enough for us to revisit our Valley of Fire Easter tradition. We met them up there at 9am. We hid eggs for Jaxon first. He thought it was delightful finding them tucked away here and there. And he loved the candy inside. We did a little climbing until I got scared of being high up. Then it started getting busy, so we went a little off the Beehives and Garry, Cynjyn and I hid eggs for the "big kids". Cynjyn wanted to be a hider, not a finder this year. We drove to the hieroglyphs and had a picnic of homemade subs, chips and oranges. Then we hiked up to the hieroglyphs and left. Talon and Mikel wanted to get on the road before nap time. Mike sent me a photo of a sleeping Jaxon before they even got out of the park! It was a fun morning and we will do it next year too!
