Yesterday, we had our first summer storm of the season and it was a dusey!! We were right in the middle of FHE when we heard the thunder a coming. Then all of a sudden, a huge lightening, followed by thunder and then the sudden downpour started off our evening. So cool, scary and fun. Everytime there is lightening close by it sets off our smoke alarms. We thought the lightening was so close that it actually hit our pool at one point!
Course, my two boys that are ALWAYS in their underwear, were the ones to run out and play in the rain!
It really was soooo cool.
Everything was flooding!
Some of it even coming into the house by our slider.
The temperature went from 105-81 in a matter of minutes.
It actually lasted about a half an hour. It was way fun!

Darn! We missed all the fun. Looks like it was pretty heavy rain.
yea, combination of fright and enjoyment with those storms; reminds me of a few terrified times as a kid in Illinois. I like 'inclimate' weather.
