Random or What?

Here is the randomness. Tanner gave Cynjyn a Twinkie and one day I found it in the wash.  She'd left it in her pocket!  I came into my bathroom one evening and here was Cynjyn just lying in my bathtub fully clothed...Hi mom she says!

Garry was cleaning out the leaf trap one day for the pool and there was a dead RAT in it!! EWWWW

The elders wanted to have FHE with every member in the ward and so we took our turn and invited Mikel to join us.  We did minute to win it games for our activity.

We paired people up and played away. 

It was a really fun night and the Elder's had a blast.  They were even late to their next appointment they were having so much fun!

Taz has had several band activities this month.  Fall is a busy time with football games and competitions.  Here he is playing for the Silverado Open House.

He managed to fit is a merit badge clinic and took his photography pictures from this summer of all the wildlife he shot and he earned the photography and genealogy merit badge.

We bought a sno cone maker on clearance at Sam's and Garry had to leave and go to the merit badge clinic, so Cynjyn attempted to put it together.  She did pretty good, but Garry took over when he got home and finished it up.

When Tanner moved out, we needed some place to store his stuff, so Garry went up into our attic and managed to get all his stuff up there.  It was super scary though cuz he had to climb up the ladder right next to the railing.  If he went over, it was going to be quite a fall.  It made my stomach churn watching him.

I had to attend orientation and then officially got my badge and was cleared to start.

I love how Taz runs in his pink shoes. He's easy to spot.

We took him to Famous Dave's for lunch after his meet.

Now that Bethany is gone, Cynjyn has been spending a lot of time with Becca.  They are cute together.

We enjoyed a FHE in the back yard around our fire pit one evening.

The pool was a mess and Garry drained it again as soon as the weather got cool enough.  It was so green and yucky again.  He power washed it and  acid washed it and so far it's staying clear.

Cynjyn attempted an art project we saw on Pinterest. 

It involved gluing crayons to canvas and melting them.

I think it turned out cute.  She is about ready to redecorate her room, so we've been doing some things here and there for it.

One FHE we made Tanner and birthday box.  We blew up balloons and wrote messages on them and then deflated them and we also put some messages inside and  sent him some treats.  It was fun and made us really miss him!
