Spring Band, Spirit Week and Winter Drumline

What a senior year. Cynjyn joined drumline in December and it was a great experience for her. But first, band. Her last Spring Festival concert and fun with band friends. Then for dance team, they had to dress up for spirit week. It was a decades theme and the first day was 50's, then 70's, 80's and 90's. It was pretty funny when Cynjyn and Sean showed up to their class together and they were wearing almost the exact same wind breaker for 90's day. They both thought that was hilarious since it wasn't planned! They performed a decades dance at the assembly that everyone really got into and Cynjyn choreographed a big chunk of it. Then lastly, drumline. Franco really wanted Cynjyn to be in it this year. He had a great storyline: Caged within my Heart and wanted her for the lead visual. He was especially excited because Cynjyn and Eric were dating and so he thought that would be a great twist.  They had rehearsals every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-8 and a lot of Saturday's from December through March. The show was really good and they were always scoring high in the visual department. All season they were neck and neck with Liberty. They ended up getting first place in the competitions 3 out of four times, beating Liberty. Then Foothill came into the competitions and we didn't stand a chance, but at the final's we ended up beating Liberty and taking second place overall! It was really fun to watch and I wished she'd done it previous years to.
