I was still kind of sick from earlier in February. I had a horrible lingering cough. I did all that I could to control it expecially on the plane and in crouds. I basically needed to suck on cough drops constantly. The cruise line was kind of worried about the Corona virus because a ship had been quarantined with sick people on it for a few days. This wasn't in our area, but they were screening people
for fevers and asking if we were sick. I managed to get aboard though. We of course had a lot of ice cream and went to fine dining every night. We had two other couples at our table that we got along with and then a few nights, a third couple would come. We were able to have our strawberry bisque, one night we had a peach one. There were little restaurants on board too. A BBQ one from Guy Fieri and a burger one from him. They were both delicious! We did almost all the trivia games and won the trivial pursuit one as a team. We were by a lot of cruise ships one day when we docked for an excursion. We enjoyed our towels every night and the shows were o.k. The last day/night on the ship was very stormy and rocky, so the boat was not doing well with the waves. So the dancers couldn't put on the last night's show. They only sat and did the singing part of it, so that was a bummer. We played a lot of cards while we were waiting for shows and shuttles and planes. It was a great trip and it made me want to take cruises more frequently! It was a great birthday!
