Christmas Road Trip

We got o Oregon every other year for Christmas. This was our year to go. We were out of town by 6:15 am Thursday December 22.  Taz ammused himself by decapitating the Cinnamon Santa's and rolling all their heads into one giant ball and slowly eating it.

We stayed in Boise for most of the time.  We stayed at Krissy's house and Ky and her family came over almost every day to visit.  Mom and Dad stayed at the Condo and spent the days at Krissy's as well.  Taz was thrilled that their little pond had turned into a sheet of solid ice.
The kids entertained themselves on there for quite awhile.  Krissy and Brian are hoping the 20 Koi fish survive.
The men got to help Brian unload a couple of pellats of these small wood thingy's for their new fireplace.
We had a delicious Christmas eve dinner of lots of goodies and GREAT company.

For our Christmas eve activities we took some pictures by the tree.
Clay made a movie on his IPhone starring Taz and Kres and so everyone watched that.
Then we divided up into three groups and did skits in a bag.
Played the chocolate bar game.
Had a cotton ball picking up relay.

And reinacted the Scripture Christmas story...
As grandpa read it.
We did our gift exchange game.
Then Cynjyn and Kres put out goodies for Santa and his reindeer.
The rest of the evening was spent playing with the gifts people got,

 and visiting.
Ky and Kres spent the night at Krissy's so as not to miss any of the early morning excitement while Brian kept us informed as to where Santa was on his IPad.  Try to sleep everyone, tomorrow will be an exciting day!!

I always love having everyone together. Thanks for coming--great fun, food and activities! Only those who have made the long trip by car can appreciate Taz's beheading the cimmimon thingies and eating them slowly!!
