Taz was determined to go to Sister Patricks homecoming in December. He was hoping it would be like his with a lot of friends attending, but it only ended up being him and Chunie Johnson. Her and her mother Unju came down from Provo and spent the night with us, then left early Saturday morning to head to Long Beach. They talked me into going at the last minute and I'm so glad I did. It was beautiful and fun. Saturday night Hailey's dad took us to the Trump golf course overlooking the beach to watch the sunset. It was gorgeous. They had taken us to Cafe Rio for lunch and provided us a pulled pork and potato soup dinner that evening. We played hand and foot until late. Sunday we went to their church to listen to her homecoming talk. She dressed in the traditional Korean dress and had brought them all back for her family too. They had a family dinner after church with Hawaiian food. We visted and played spoons. We left to come back right before her open house in which non family was invited. Chunie and Unju spent the night again and left early Monday (NY Eve) to head back to Utah, not before Chunie got a picture with all our cereal choices!
