Halloween was definitely different this year. I feel like it started early, but the only celebrations were preschool parties and decorating and gift giving to ministering sisters. But we managed to have fun with the Snapchat filters, my favorites are this time of year! Our neighbor hood still boo'ed each other. Cynjyn carved a pumpkin with her friend group. I gave a first of October treat to my ministering sisters and then a Halloween treat to them. Jaxon got to party at preschool and he dressed up as Pikachu. He also got invited to a party at the Kinet's house with Holland and her friends and then he and Camdyn were Scooby and Scrappy Do on Halloween when their mom and dad took them around the neighborhood. We bought no candy to hand out and turned off our lights and just stayed in on Halloween night. I missed everyone dressing up!! Cynjyn got an adorable chocolate box from Demi and I bought a new tiered tray and decorated it for the first time with gnomes and cuteness, some homemade, some store bought. Grandma came through with her $2.00 bill tradition this time accompanied with a cute Halloween scene she had drawn!
