We celebrated Tanner and Joey's birthday's in October and my Dad (Krissy too, but I just sent her a present): A couple of times a month, we play D and D with the Osburn's . Heather wanted to bring a dessert for Tanner one night when we played close to his birthday. We had told her about a place we went to eat a couple of years ago just for their nutter butter ice cream pie and how they had stopped selling it and just happened to have one left in the freezer that we all shared. So she reinvented it and made it for Tanner. It was yummy. They also got him a game called Raccoon Tycoon after finding out that Raccoon's are his favorite animal. For my Dad's 80th birthday, we had all his kids, kid-in-laws and grandkids send me a couple of reason's they love him. I compiled them by birth order and made a poster out of it for him. We had it framed and mom picked it up at the Wal Mart in LG and gave it to him. We think he liked it! It was titled 80+reasons we love you (he was turning 80, but we ended up with a few more than 80 reasons!) Tanner just wanted to stay home for his birthday dinner and have our normal Sunday of games and family time. So we obliged. He wanted trifle and he made it himself with Jaxon's help. He mostly got D and D stuff (he had made a list). We found out that brownies were Joey's favorite dessert, so we made those for his birthday and Jaxon helped put the candles in. We got him ticket's to Tuachan's Thriller for his birthday... more of that in a new blog post coming soon.
