Awesome getaway

I had been wanting to do a little family get away for a long time. So I looked into places fairly close by and found an Air B n B in Panguitch. It was close to Panguitch lake and Bryce Canyon. So I booked it and we headed to Utah for a much needed break from COVID and a family vacay! We stopped in St. George, so the babies could be fed. We got Mc Donalds and headed to a park nearby to eat and play. We had borrowed my friend Jo's inflatable kayaks and went to the lake on our way to the Air B n B. It was super windy and cold, but a few of us braved the waters and had fun. We had two kayaks, but only blew one up. By the time we got done with our lake fun, it was time to check in to the house. I had planned nachos for dinner because they would be quick and easy. The house was very cool. We gave Talon and Mikel the master with it's own bathroom. Garry and I slept in a bedroom with a queen bed. Tanner and Cynjyn slept in the room with bunk beds and Taz took the couch. They had a fun playroom with a giant dart board and games. It was an add on and had a door. So you could go in there and be quiet away from the main part of the house. Monday, we went to Bryce Canyon. We drove to the end of the park and worked our way back to the beginning. It was gorgeous, but not to kid friendly. Our first stop, we got out and hiked around. We came across a Korean couple. I asked them where they were from and when I found out Korea, I quickly called Taz over and he had a little conversation with them. We stopped at most of the places and did a few little easy hikes. We left the park and went to a part of the park that was supposed to have a waterfall. It was a little hike to get to it, but it was very pretty. It was a hot day and everyone but Garry and I ended up walking in the river and cooling off! We wished we had spent more time there. We went back to the house and had chili and corn bread for dinner. Tanner, Mike, Cynjyn and Jaxon went to a local ice cream store for dessert. We took a  trivia game outside on the back table and played that while Taz, Talon and Jaxon played with a frisbie. It was a great weekend and we just got up and came home on Tuesday.
