We headed to Idaho/Oregon for Christmas. It was going to be a quick trip. Cynjyn had finals until Dec. 22, Friday and we headed out as soon as she got done at 10:40. We drove all the way to Twin Falls before we really hit bad snow. We stopped there for dinner at Mc Donalds and it started snowing. It took us about three + hours to get to Boise...dark, snow and cold are not good combinations. There were so many accidents that we passed, but we plowed through and made it around 11pm Boise time.
Of course we woke up to beautiful snow the next morning. So, what are dessert people to do but....build a snowman of course!
Tanner started the head
Cynjyn the middle
and Garry the bottom
It was a beautiful day, cold, but sunny
Annalyn supervised and helped the whole process too.
In no time at all, we had a beautiful little snow bear!
The next day was Christmas Eve. Rob and Jodi and Trey texted us that they were interested in bowling at Big Al's, we had nothing better to do, so we joined them.
After bowling we went back to Krissy's (minus R, J and T) and started our food and festivities.
We had quite the spread with enough food to feed an army and everyone could find something they liked.
Krissy was in charge of games this year and this one was a hit! She wrapped a bunch of little goodies in plastic wrap...a lot of plastic wrap and we rolled dice and when we got a six, we started unwrapping! Annalyn started us off and boy was she excited!
I think almost everyone got a goodie! It was fun.
She gave us options of games to play with red Solo cups and we chose a few and played them, relay type games...tossing,
stacking etc.
Then we banned the kids to bed (yeah right) I mean upstairs and we got to work.
Tanner and Cynjyn unloaded everyones already wrapped gifts and put them under the tree.
Cynjyn helped Santa eat his snacks because she got "hungry" (haha)
and we had some fun with Snapchat into the wee hours of the night!
So far so good!
