September Little Things

This is what I want to remember from September: 1-2. Morning walks seeing the blood red sun from the fires. 3. A house full of Taz's friends frequently. 4. My first senior discount. I just happened to mosey into Von's on a Wednesday morning and the greeter told me it was senior discount day! 5. Taz got a job at the rock climbing gym and I had to bring him something one day, so I snapped a photo. 6-8. Going to Madeline's baptism, bringing home some tomatoes she bought from Utah and gave to us because they were going out of town. They were so delicious!! and the current temp:( 9-12. We ordered Mulan live action off the Disney channel ($30) and watched it as a family one Sunday. We also retook the Potter quiz and I was Slytherin and my patronus was a basset hound! 13. Freezing some strawberries. 14. We got a new game that Talon had been wanting. 15. Miniature painting. 16. don't put liquid in a food processor! 17. She always sits on the counter. 18. Cool walking temps in the morning. 19. Our adventuring party with the Osburns. 20-21. Letting Grayson visit for a bit. 22. New nails 23. Playing the new game. 24. Cynjyn and her friends watching Demi at her pageant. 25. Garry cleaned and organized the D and D corner. 26-27. Playing 4 square volleyball at the YSA FHE activity. 28-29. That blood orange sun! 30. Cooking Korean BBQ 31-32. New sandals, new shirt, loving the sunshine 33. Sunset to rival sunrises 34-35. Went to get our eye appointments only to find out they had been canceled. Too bad I never listen to my answering machine. 36. Cynjyn bought a diamond painting of her Korean pop group. 37. Debbie posted a memory of the rock crib at Grandpa's old property. I will forever miss that place! 38. Garry napping 39-40. Gus brought Cynjyn these super cool tye dye roses and they just both happened to be wearing tye dye shirts that day...totally not planned! 41-43. Putting shelves up in C's room, getting the chalk dust all over her hands! 44. Tanner's raccoons 45. Delivery from our minister Bill Witt. 46. Sunday's 47. My Dancing with the Stars fellow watchers (until Carol Baskin got voted off then they stopped watching) 48.Started this book for our next book club finally.

 

Halloween??

With COVID and lockdowns and somewhat cooler temperature, I was so in the mood to get my all stuff out. I almost always wait until the first of October to do this. But this year I had bought some Heidi Swapp wood stuff for both Mikel and I and they came and I was excited to get them and start painting them.  So I had Tanner get down my stuff and I started decorating. I had fun painting our projects. It always amazes me that I put up mostly the same decorations every year, but somehow find a way to do things a little differently. It keeps it fresh. I did add a few items from the dollar tree to my decor this year. I did some banners on my front room side table and the mantle. Cynjyn bought a Halloween costume this year and it came and she snuggled right into it. It's going to be a fun season.
