4th of July

We spent the whole day of the 4th celebrating. Some of us swam, some of us just watched the swimmers. I set the table nicely and it was very festive. We made a fruit pizza for dessert and a pineapple punch. We also smoked brisket and sausages. We swam after dinner and most of us dressed patriotic. Cynjyn and I tried to do a little photo shoot with Jaxon and it was pretty funny, we managed to get one fun photo out of many taken. Our original plan was to go to Talon 's house after dinner to do our fireworks so Jaxon and Camdyn wouldn't fall asleep in the car on the way back to their house if we were out late. But Talon wanted us to just do them. So around 6pm, we went out front. We did the poppers first. Jaxon discovered popping them between his fingers which he enjoyed. I had bought a few fireworks for our "show". Even though it wasn't dark, we could still see them just fine and we all enjoyed our little show except Camdyn. He was fine with the first one, then he just lost it and was crying and scared. So Mikel took him into the car across the street and fed him so she could still see the show. Taz and Jaxon and Talon did some scateboarding and scootering. After they left and it got dark, me and the boys (not Cynjyn) went to Charlie's house to watch his fireworks. His brother had got some illegal ones and his parents work at Edible arrangements, so his mom had some chocolate covered fruit for us to enjoy. It was a great day spent with family and that's what it's all about having fun with family!!
