This year for RS Christmas gifts, we decided to make bread and jam to hand out. We also put in a synopsis of President Holland's Christmas devotional talk and some blank cards that the ladies could send to other ladies in the ward throughout the year to let them know they are thinking about them. Toni and I got together on a Thursday morning and made three batches of bread and 4 batches of jam. It took most of the day. We gave Janet and Janel the bags to prep and put the paper stuff in and cut and glue the front on the bags. Then Friday morning, we got together at my house to assemble everything. That went until around 1:30. We had a drive by pick up scheduled for Saturday morning at the church where the sisters could come and get their present. It was from 10-11 am. Only about 8-10 sisters came and picked theirs up, so we had made 120 and had to deliver the rest. We divided them up and everyone got one that day. I love how they turned out.
