Little Things

This is what I want to remember about December: 1. Making Mikel's Christmas present (wood stuff from Heidi Swapp) 2. Mom and Dad's surprise Christmas gift. (We had Lee Wright install and hand rail for the back porch into the mudroom. He managed to do it in secret and they just woke up and it was there! 3. My new Unicorn yard decor 4-6. Cynjyn cut her own hair, it was fun tickling Jaxon with it! 7-8. Tanner playing a game with a busy boy on his back! 9. Mikel straightening up her hair 10-12. Cynjyn making gifts, Tanner and Joey packing a gift to send to a friend, evening walk around our neighborhood to see the decorations. 13-14. Cleaning the church 15. Garry got gifts from Arcata, a speaker and chocolates from a local chocolatier 16. Taz could go down with her on his back, but he could only go back up once. 17. Morning walks in cool weather 18. Taz's new beanie someone at the Rock Climbing gym made for him 19. Raisins on my no bake cookie 20. Messy bun hair 21. Wearing Jaxon's mask he got at preschool 22.Tanner made business cards to put up as a tutor 23. My Christmas candy bowls 24. Finishing the Book of Mormon CFM 25-26. Cynjyn and Garry putting together her gift for Jaxon 27. Gus's picnic table he got for Christmas (portable so he can take it anywhere) 28. Garry buying miniatures with his birthday money from Mom (You don't know which ones you'll get until you open them) 29. Taz playing the piano a lot 30. Trying a hot chocolate bomb 30. Garry pouring the bacon grease into the jar and we all hear a crack, it split it all the way through. 31. Buying a pound of peanut butter cup after Christmas on clearance 32. Putting together a 1000 piece puzzle in 3 and a half hours with Tanner on NY's Eve 33. Jaxon's school picture 34. COVID Santa 35. New Years Eve with the Shafer's playing games and toasting in the new year with fireworks and sparkling cider at midnight, then getting home at 1:30. And that's a wrap for 2020...WHAT A YEAR!!!
