The Party Starts Here!

Taz has a good group of friends. They are a good mix of LDS kids and non-LDS kids. They have been having "get togethers" at each other's houses on the weekends. We felt it was our turn to host one. So we handed out invites to a "Nacho" ordinary party, and had the gang over on Friday. We started at 6:00 and they all played Guitar Hero until everyone arrived. We had a total of 10 kids counting Taz and Cynjyn.

Then, we played Fear Factor gross food challenge. All the kids were pretty brave and they all ate and tried everything until we got to the final food which was sardines. Taz and Sara bowed out at that point. The other foods we had were: green olives, wasabi peas, saurkraut, raw mushrooms, goat cheese, pickle juice with hot crushed peppers in it, spam and the sardines.

The we played Norwegian nosedive.

Everyone ate the nacho bar: Chips, cheese, meat, beans, homemade salsa, guacomole and sour cream. We had soda and donut holes for dessert.

This is where Talon and Tiffany had to sit because 10 kids were around the table.

Then they played Mafia and Signs.

Then they all left at 9:00. It was loud, crowded and fun, but a success.

How FUN! I'll have to remember those ideas for whenever we have a party.
