None of us are Cardinals or Steelers fans, but we watched the Super Bowl anyway. Luckily, everyone in the house was rooting for Arizona. Garry had it in his head that he wanted to have Brautz sausages for the super bowl feast. He had been hearing about it all week on his talk radio show. So he planned and bought all the food for the big day. None of us liked the Brawtz (I have no idea how to spell them). But luckily, he bbq hot dogs and hamburgers and we had a chili cheese dip and some french fries, onion rings and cheese sticks that he whipped up in the fryer. Needless to say, we were a little sad at the outcome, and we didn't think any commercials stood out as classics and no one really likes Bruce Springsteen! Oh, well, there's always next year!

The key to brawtz is to cut them up put them on a toothpick and squeeze some honey over the top...YUM
Who cares about brawtz, Randy, I'm still waiting for your homemade corn dogs!
I was kinda going for the cardinals as well, but not really into either so not too bummed. Clay was happy with the win though because they are his one and only pro team that he likes.
We just had sandwiches--your food sounds way, way better. Maybe next year we'll just happen to stop by during the game. :o)
You mean you have to talk about brawtz to get a comment out of Randy? Way to go, Kim!! Sunday, we went to the singles pot luck after church and then I fell asleep reading a book at 7:30 and slept the rest of the night! What Super Bowl???? I missed the party Krissy had last year!
I'm with you ref half time show, and commercials were just so-so. But you gotta admit, at least the last 5 mins of the game were great!
I've never heard of brawtz, only bruats. . . I need to research.
We were rooting for AZ too!!!
