My sister Krissy was asking what Flashback Friday was. My friend Carol does this randomly on her blog where she'll take an old picture and post it and blog about it. I thought it sounded fun, so I started doing it. In my opinion, it has to be an old picture (before digi age, although when i run out of those, I'll resort to my old digi files!). So, that being said, here is my Flashback Friday:
This is a picture of me and my uncle Reed. He is the youngest of my dad's brothers. I have fond memories growing up with him. I believe he was around 11 when I was born?? Anyway, I was a bridesmaid at his wedding and after he got married, I would spend a week or so each summer with him and his new wife Debbie. Reed introduced me to the Beatles. Everytime I was at his apartment, he always had a Beatles record playing it seemed. He and Debbie raised four wonderful children and now have three grandkids. I love going to his house when I go home to Oregon during the summer. He has built a house on my Grandfather's farm and he and Debbie have created quite a homey home. Debbie is an awesome decorator and the house is just adorable. They have the best garden ever and will let my kids come over and reap the harvest from it and just enjoy it since we can't have a garden here. They are both fun to be around and Reed is always interested in what my family is up to and how we're doing. So, here's my shout out to Reed and Debbie, two of the best people I know in this world!! I look forward to seeing you again this summer!

Wow! He looks so young. We'll have to make sure he checks this post out. Love the flashback Fridays. (The pictures of your parents last week were great!)
I love your Flashbacks almost as much as I love mine! :o)
Old photos are so cool. (well, not really old, but you know what I mean)
We love their house too!!! When are you going to be there this summer? Maybe we can "garden" together!

Oh, I see. Sound fun. Unfortunately, most of my flashback pictures are packed up for moving, so it will be awhile before I can unearth any!
Flashback Friday is wonderful! And, you are right on the mark about
Reed and Debbie. They have a beautiful home filled with beautiful people! If I had a scanner, I could do a flashback of Reed when he was about 5 years old!!
